Wow very nice! I think that you put slightly too much reverb on guitars, and in guitar solo about in the middle of song, this guitar solo is sometimes cut, that sounds a bit strange, but it's very good despite of that That ending solos are almost proggy

Wow, completely amazing. Can't wait to hear more remakes!
You actually play drums and guitar, don't you?

Hehe orbik, maybe we could co-operate to produce some fine remixes (after I'll make resynched midis). You're guitar player, right? :>

Thank you, nice to hear my work is appreciated ;D Yes I play guitar and have played drums a little in the past, but that is a bit too expensive as a hobby. Here the drums are all programmed in Cubase with a midi keyboard (G&S CustomWorks samples in DR008). I have NI Guitar Rig 2 for the guitars and the drawbar organ is NI B4. The bass is a bit funny because it's actually my guitar with neck pickup processed with Steinberg voicemachine processor (a formant pitch shifter) and into guitar rig.. sounds surprisingly real . The biggest downside was that it's really hard to play in time fingering .009-.042 strings like a bass.. so had to cheat a little and manually move the notes after recording. And btw it's an 8th note delay, not really a reverb on the guitar track. Supposed to give it that 80's rock sound (listen to Van Halen) I have nothing against cooperation in principle but it's hard to do efficiently on the internet. And you don't happen to live anywhere near Espoo, Finland? edit: Next I thought of making something like a groovy jazz version of "Come back to me, Savara". So just in case you know a brass player (trumpet, trombone), would be really sweet to get real live recordings. I'm not aware of a synth that comes close to sounding like the real thing (volume swells, vibrato, glissandos..)

Ask Nixin, he has plenty of realistic VSTis like whole orchestra etc. so I think that he could be helpful in that matter. And I live in Poland (Nix too, he's my friend next door). Making different versions of Tyrian music could be a great idea - I'm a pianist, so maybe I'll record some NICE STUFF MAN . But first I have to get a new PC and the midi keyboard (CME M-Key - cheap and pro). It will take some time, especially that I dont have any job, but I do have parents!

Moi moi, Orbik Mä digaan tästä! You know, as kg said - minä olen puolalainen, but I'm in love with Finnish and Finland - there was a time when I acctually started learning Suomi (but never had the time to get back to it). I wanted to go to Finland this July, but I had no one to go with, so my plans kinda' fell apart. Anyway, the Rock Garden is great, can't wait for the other stuff. As for the Savara - jazz version, I have a friend that plays the trumpet, I also have the equipement (good microphones) so if you'd provide me with the music sheet I could get him some time next week for a short recording session. Näkemiin! EDIT: As far as VSTi's go - I do have plenty of HQ samples (in total about 300GB, huge libraries, FX, etc...). I can play the piano, church organ, guitar and I can sing ;-)

But oficially, you're a SINGER, and I'm a PIANIST SO I PLAY, YOU SING. hehehehe just kidding, but with trumpet.. I think some improvisation would be good too, my finnish guy! Ola mininia TASTA EDIT: Go check my another thread with resynced MIDIs of songs from Tyrian - thanks to Nix I'm able now to make ultra-clean MIDIs without any bugs, like bad program changes or messed drums - I'll upload better versions of these mids that I published later.
