Yeah, I fixed that. New version will be posted in a bit. Reviewing how is sounds and it's better. Changed the instruments around a bit, switched out the Battery 3 drums to DFH2 instead. Cymbal was too loud on the new one and the synth was a bit...quirky, so I fixed it up. This one sounds better, I think. I'll post up both version of the new one for comparison.
Just joined the forum to show you guys some stuff I've been doing. Thought you might be interested.
Over the past couple of days, I've made 3 Tyrian "remixes", and uploaded an older one. I also have one from ages back that was already uploaded. Here they are, in case someone wants to see them:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAxsHWqDnb8 - Tyrian, The Level ~ The most unchanged from the original version, this is pretty much a copy-paste with some high(er) quality instruments.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XFBPevvqTU - Gyges, Will You Please Help Me ~ This is one I did ages ago, but only uploaded a few days ago. It is also the most different from the source. I extended it, added voice samples, and added new sections that weren't even IN the original.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZvjGSQxUPs - Return Me To Savara ~ The first of three that I did over the past few days. I really didn't change much, it's very much like my "Tyrian, The Level" remix in that way.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHMiJpFCUHY - Sarah's Song ~ I'm pretty proud of this one. It is somewhat true to the original, with a new middle section that's got a marching rhythm.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPOG8sBpYdM - Composition in Q ~ I approached this song very differently than the others. I kinda had to, the original stands out on the soundtrack as very unique. I made it slower, and made it more piano-centric. Aside from some string chords, the entire thing is piano. I hope I did the original some amount of justice.
Please keep in mind that I do not have the equipment to play anything with actual tools, so I've done all of these entirely on the computer. No keyboards or anything. Also, in case anyone was interested (or still reading), I will probably be uploading One Mustn't Fall soon.
EDIT: Here's One Mustn't Fall:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSsqH7qDGgw I decided to do this, and a friend joked to me that I should do it OCRemix-style, with billions of solos. So... I did. There's a paraphrase of the Rock Garden bridge at the end of the first solo.
