Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say a big thank-you to all involved with OpenTyrian and its creation. For the last few years I've been eager to return to this, possibly my favorite game of all time, in order to satisfy that bout of nostalgia that I'm sure all of you have suffered from at one time or another!

P.S. The reincarnation of the in-game jukebox is brilliant; I literally listened to 'Come Back To Me Savara' on loop for an absurd amount of time. It's now my ringtone...

Hello all, just another Tyrian fan joining up here...recently got OpenTyrian and have been playing through the game again on it, though I'm really wishing for OpenTyrian 2000...  Also I do a bit of editing on the Tyrian page at TV Tropes, so check that out and add to it if you want. |

IT LIVES! First of all a BIG, HUGE, QUANTUM POWERED T H A N K S for keeping the spirit of Tyrian alive, as it's one of the most underrated games, and it should never be forgotten. The OpenTyrian remake made my life so much better. A new member has entered the twisted and fruity universe of Tyrian  (If I see you wasting any more fruit I'll smash yo' shi..p) I'm a freelance graphics designer from Croatia aged (almost) 23 with a short fuse when it comes to beating Tyrian on impossible/suicide, let alone arcade mode I've got some ideas, questions, rants, nags, whines and more, all of which I'll spread finely and thin like butter across the boards. I'm one of the dreamers when it comes to giving it a graphical overhaul, and I'm even willing to lend a hand as far as my expertise with pixel-art goes (0 ), or vector art. Though I've skimmed the boards and it seems quite the task for the coders to pull off, as the original Tyri boy uses small, simple sprites as opposed to what we today consider standards (1024x1024 sized crisp bosses, bring it the fu*k on!). I'll never stop dreaming though |

Hello!
Old timer Tyrian fan here. I saw it first when I was 6 years old!
Time to time I play it through again and again.
And I always forget, that it doesn't matter if you score 260000 on an ale run, it won't add it to your score later.
Damn it, wasted another 5 hours on Ziglon...

Hello everyone! I'm a fan of Tyrian (of course!) and also have an interest in the history of video games in general and DOS games in particular.
I've registered here to post info on the updated demo of Tyrian 2000 (released in November 2000 by World Tree Games) which was found recently.
