i just installed windows XP onto my legacy gaming machine... mainly coz Windows ME sucks at maintaining wireless connections anyway.. now i just switch between the two OS's to play all my various games. you guys wouldn't believe how good it is to still own an original Yamaha OPL3-SAx,.. it works perfectly for Tyrian.,... except i have to disable PNP in the bios, and manually set the cards resources.. other then that it handls all dos games well  ....sadly.. i somehow broke theme hospital :/... all the videos are black and i can't get into the game... im not at all sure what the hell happened (i blame the pixies..) i wish someone would port theme hospital... that'd be fun lol  |

i cant tell yous how much i enjoy this game, i've been playing it for a long long time and i still cant get enough of it.

Old Tyrian fan, from many years ago.  Being a kid I couldn't tell Zica from the lightning cannon, but I sure can now. Oh the joy of being a kid and searching for the green blob described in the dataflux. Nowadays I'm into graphical 3d art and professional photoshopping, entering a study related to both. It's good to be in the game again now that Tyrian is being opensourced. |

Hi I have been playing Tyrian since I came out of the womb, therefore I belong on this forum.
i have even been able to get friends to play 2 player before.

hey dudes. I've been a fan of Tyrian ever since I got the 2.0 demo on a coverdisk years ago. I'm doing my own Flash thing while enjoying the excellent OpenTyrian.

oooooooh yeaaaaaaaah! hello there im natalio from argentine...when i was 6 years this game iluminate my life  whit his awesome music and best graphics ever. as well one must fall and wacky wheels are too my favorite classics games....Alexander brandon is a genius!! with his music in ever game he works (he is inspired with steve vai like me!! jaj) bye brothers! |

Noticed I never posted here.
Hey, I'm yuriks, been here for a while now. I'm 16 and played Tyrian a long time ago when I was 9 or something like that, after finding a folder names TYRS in my dad's PC games folder (I guess it stands for TYRian Shareware) I played that first episode over and over with my cousin.
Fast forward some years, I know C and I'm helping to port Tyrian. =D

Yeah, still need to post here. I played Tyrian all throughout my life since I was like 4. Back then I couldnt understand the story, or what to do. So i never upgraded my ship and only recognized levels from their music....
Now I love DOS games and any other games in fact. I make music, and remix some old game music alot.
