yeah... this is not enhanced in any way. I think it's time to stop cleaning up code and start adding content. oh, and remake the setup file. Some of us enjoy the midi sound quality, and the wild detail. Unless someone else adds MIDI support, that's not going to happen since all of the OpenTyrian developers agree that MIDI support was only included for compatibility and was not the way the music was meant to be played. Wild detail, however, is already there. Just press W on the in-game setup detail-level item instead of the one in setup.

I'm a musician so I'm not just some troll *cough* *cough* *cough* But anyway, feel free to add it in: come up with some Adlib instrument -> MIDI mapping tables we can use, and adapt the LDS player.

Hello, I have a problem with this - when run in full screen it shows just a little fraction of the image about 50*150pixels I guess. In window mode it is ok, but too small of course... My graphics card is nvidia and system windows vista 64bit.

I'm also having some issues with this on Win 7 64-bit with a radeon 5870. Fullscreen just doesn't work at all, I take it into fullscreen and all I see is my desktop and that my mousepointer is glued to the upper left corner. I have looked around a bit on opentyrian page and here on these forums, but I couldn't find anyone with the same problem (I might just be a little bad at looking though).
Thanks for any help.

Ok so this is the first time I actually tried opentyrian. In the most recent build, is it a known issue that the audio comes out with some scratches and that the framerate tends toward the chunky side?
Edit: I was using classic. My bad.
Enhanced issue, can't get it to start, windows 7.
"Executing script 00paths.con... Initializing filesystem... Error: Failed to add "data" to search paths. Adding "opentyr-data" to search paths. Executing script 10config.con... initialized SDL video: 320x200x32 warning: Christmas is missing.
ERROR: Unable to find Tyrian data file: palette.dat Opentyrian needs data files yadda yadda"
Is the error I am pretty much getting. Palette.dat is there.

Fixed that problem. But still getting choppy framerate and scratchy music.
