I believe no ship comes stock with this, but it works with the charge cannon.
Execute the moves for spin wave while you have a charge cannon or two and it will create the same thing you get when you collect that power up in Asteroid 1. SERIOUS carnage!
I used to think the cannon was useless... but WOW!
Sorry if this is common knowledge.
This was in opentyrian by the way.

Anyway, I just tried this, and it didn't work, I started 1 Player Arcade, went to Soh Jin, got the charge cannon and executed the spin wave (hold fire, down, left, up, right, down, left, up) a hundred times and nothing happened, so either I am doing something wrong or you are. =/

Spin wave: rotate clockwise twice and hit fire.
That one thing you did was either mine spray or post it spread.

No, that's Spin Wave, source confirms it, and it IS spin clockwise one and a half times.

It only worked for me with charge cannons in any ship.
I think it requires a mouse. Like literally circles. You can execute it infinite times and lose no drain... you can have TONS of those balls like a barrier blocking and shredding THROUGH anything!

It doesn't work in T2k it seems. It only worked when I used it in open tyrian. The orange balls circle the charge cannons shortly plowing through anything. I tried to take a video but it messed up, screen shots get corrupt.

I tested again. It only seems to happen on the latest Opentyrian enhanced win32bit. That is the only version I get this..bug. This leads me to a point I saw; the mine spray in opentyrian doesn't move about randomly- it fires in the line you move your ship. In stock, they fly around randomly.

That would be the problem, you're using the 2000 data. OpenTyrian is a port of Tyrian 2.1, so you need the 2.1 data, preferably the one in our FAQ. That's what causes that glitch, notice the charge cannon also doesn't actually charge, it always fires the fully charged shot.

Pretty cool though if you ask me. It only comes if I execute the move for spin wave, which doesn't actually work at all. I think I will leave it like this for now
