I've been doing some hacking on OpenTyrian, and have a fix for a crash that occurs reliably when attempting to play certain demo-play files (demo.4 or demo.5, via tyrian21.zip's data files). I've tried creating a Pull Request for such on BitBucket, however, it looks as if they might not be allowing new Pull Requests (perhaps due to their soon-to-happen shutdown of Mercurial support), or perhaps I do not have permission for such.
Is there a preferred place nowadays to post bug-fixes? I've placed a copy of my patch up at dll.fyi/tyr/opentyrian-fix_for_demo_crash-branch_sdl2.patch , if that helps. It includes a rough description of the bug in it's header. I am happy to copy this information to wherever, if that would help, and/or to try rebasing the patch onto a different branch (I applied it to the "sdl2" branch, but the buggy code does seem to be in the "default" as-well, though I've yet to test it there.)
