hello, i'm pretty excited that i've seen tyrian is ported to gba, since i recently bought a gba and a flash cartridge for it to play old skool games the real way.
but the problem here is the both versions with .gba and .bin extensions didn't work on my gba console.
i select the tyrian rom from the flash cartridges' menu, gameboy resets itself normally to change the rom, nintendo(r) text looks okay, but nothing happens after that screen. gameboy doesn't go in an empty status, but it crashes, because flash cartridges' cheat menu doesn't come up too.
i use an e-link 1gbit cartridge on a gameboy advance agb-001. i didn't experience any problems with officially released games, but since this is an uncompleted homebrew code, could this be the problem?
thanks.

I don't know if anyone else has played it on real hardware. I have played it via emulator only.

then what's the meaning of making a gba port of this game if people gonna play it via emulators?
