Seeing how development has been going slow lately, I have decided that I need to do something to step it up a notch. Because I can't really program I'll do the next best thing -- cash prizes!
I'm not going to give away outlandish amounts of money or anything, but hopefully the modest amounts I've come up with will be good enough incentives to speed things up around here. So, without further ado, the milestones:
Level Editor (with ability to play these levels in opentyrian) $125 (for an unintuitive thing only programmers can use) - $250 (for something the rest of us can sit down with and bang out levels, think staredit)
Full Tyrian 2000 integration into main branches - $100
Multiplayer lobby - $80
Get rid of classic and enhanced branches, replace with stable and unstable branches, have one executable that can be set to either a 'classic' or 'enhanced' mode in the options menu - $75
Support for external graphics replacement - $50
Archive of old collected data disks - $50
Auto-updater - $30
Support for music tracks that have seperate intro and looping parts -$25
Dynamic volume adjustment between tracks so that remixes recorded at different volumes won't stand out too much - $25
Shipeditor - $25
Obviously this is all stuff I'd like to see, but I might be open to suggestions for further milestones -- from the dev team itself or just from other forum members.
Rules:
All bribes are in USD, deliverable through paypal. In the event that more than one person is involved in completion of the milestone, all parties must agree on how to split the prize before receiving it.
