Rargh!
Okay, so I was able to get OpenTyrian Classic to work, but I'm not sure what to do with OpenTyrian Enhanced. I tried putting the latest release in %APPDATA%/OpenTyrian Enhanced, with the Tyrian 2.1 files in the data folder--like it says in the 00paths.con file--and all related SDL runtimes and dlls, and it won't work. I'm using Windows XP, and so far I've tried putting the data files in the same folder as the executable, and it still fails, saying that my configuration is incorrect. What am I supposed to do?

You don't need to put tyrian in AppData, put them in a standalone directory wherever you want. That incorrect configuration message is most probably due to you not downloading the VC++ runtime dlls.

Uh, no dude, you just get the DLLs from the zip in the download page...
Apart from that, I don't know.
