[CLOSED] GoogleCode Site suggestions

Hi to everyone
i'm starting this topic/thread to let all the members to improve the googlecode page and content.

The people who want contribute must post with this layout:

CONTENT


Page: which page do you refer (download, wiki, home, etc...)
Section: which section do you refer (windows build, faqs, compiling, etc...)
Target: what do you want to modify IF YOU ARE ADDING NEW CONTENT, WRITE <NEW>, otherwise something like "Links" or "step 2" or "title".



REMEMBER: you can also post suggestion of what you think the site need (for example: "in my opinion we need a video section" or "in my opinion we need a Tyrian Wiki" or "in my opinion we don't need a compiling guide").

<Downloads> <Windows Classic Build> <SDL>
Separates downloads for SDL are not needed because the .dll files are included in the release archive.
So in my opinion we have to separate the "releases" and the "utilities" files (these ones useful only for compiling).

<Downloads> <Windows Enhanced Build> <OPTIONAL download>
First of all, the same things written above for the classic version; then correct the name of the DEBUG archive, because now it's written RELEASE.

<Wiki> <CompilingMinGW> <the whole article>
This procedure it's not corrects, because i've tried lot of times and it doesn't work anymore. I suggest to remove this page and leave the compiling effort to the users. i suggest to encourage the use of pre-build releases.

What about some info about OpenTyrian2000? I think the homepage need a refresh with new and correct informations about the ports hosted in this site.
And maybe DELETE the WINDOWS COMPILING INSTRUCTIONS because they are not correct. Just write "windows users-->download binary".

mmh my layout/format did not take the attention of anyone.

i'll have to consider it a CLOSED topic, due to the future home of OpenTyrian.
