RESOLVED BECAUSE EACH QUESTIONS RECEIVED AN ANSWER
hi to everyone first of all i would say THANK YOU to the people who made this thing possible: continue developing Tyrian game.
Now the point: i've just discovered the opening of a new branch called OpenTyrian2000, that probably aims to bring episode 5 and other things in opentyrian universe: that's FANTASTIC!
now, what to do you think to write in the chages (revision) WHAT branch is affected? i know the differences between revision and version, but i think something like (CLASSIC), (ENHANCED), (2000) before the change description, could be done.
just to make it clear for who looks at that page.
and now my questions: 1= is the opentyrian2000 branch based on classic version? or it is just a separate branch? 2= i know alexander and tisselian are working on the tyrian2000 branch, but they are the ONLY or the whole team (as it results form google code home page) work for the entire set of branches? 3= are you gonna release or host the tyrian2000 datafiles? 4= are you gonna to build binary+datafiles packs and give them a VERSION number?
thanks!

Now the point: i've just discovered the opening of a new branch called OpenTyrian2000, that probably aims to bring episode 5 and other things in opentyrian universe: that's FANTASTIC! --- and if you want to lend a hand, you're more than welcome. now, what to do you think to write in the chages (revision) WHAT branch is affected?i know the differences between revision and version, but i think something like ( CLASSIC), (ENHANCED), (2000) before the change description, could be done. It is just a matter of prepending any string you want to the comment and it has to be done by hand. As far as I am concerned, no problem in doing that. and now my questions: 1= is the opentyrian2000 branch based on classic version? or it is just a separate branch?2= i know alexander and tisselian are working on the tyrian2000 branch, but they are the ONLY or the whole team (as it results form google code home page) work for the entire set of branches?3= are you gonna release or host the tyrian2000 datafiles?4= are you gonna to build binary+datafiles packs and give them a VERSION number?thanks! 1. it is based on the classic version. 2. Assuming that you were asking who are the members of the developer team working on the 2k branch, the answer is me and tisselian. 3. Once the port will be ready , maybe. Still , it's a bit too early to tell. 4. No. Building a binary is rather straightforward, at least as far as I can see under Linux. As far as version numbers go, I honestly can't see the point : svn revisions already define a nonambiguous timeline.

SVN is ok to cope with revision numbers and there is no need of adding an additional enumeration

hi to everyone thanks for the replies.
I would like to help but i've not programming skills and not so much time to spend on OT.
Maybe a Section called "Report Bugs" will be useful.

as i said to mindless, this method is IN MY OPINION not good, because people can't discuss/talk about the bug and ask about occurency of the bug, etc...

So if OpenTyrian2000 will be the same to Tyrian 2000, as OpenTyrian Classic to orginal Tyrian, will OpenTyrian Enhanced contain everything from OpenTyrian2000?
If yes, OpenTyrian Enhanced should change his name to OpenTyrian2000 Enhanced
PS. Sory for my bad english

I don't think Enhanced will be getting 2k support, at least not yet. I may (or may not) switch to generic game file formats which will make a conversion of the 2k data to work in Enhanced possible, so a converter is something to keep in mind.
