How about merging the code? I can send Xcode project files tp whoever is interested in merging the code. Please not that the iphone version is not based on the latest SVN version, and this may present additional problems while merging...

Hiya - i bought your iPhone port of tyrian a few hours ago and its pretty good, just a few niggles though
1) quite inconsistent whether a menu will be touch based or arrow button based 2) cant upgrade the weapons power makes story mode pretty much unplayable 3) The game seems quite fast on my 3GS (dont know about 3G) however the music is at the right speed
Are you planning on an update?

version 1.04 is now available through the AppStore. It patches the weapons upgrade bug in the story mode

So it has come to my attention that this costs two bucks. I'm personally ok with it as long as you give the source to anyone who asks and you can use it to compile a working version. If you can't do that, then I would ask you to get rid of the price tag, thanks. =)

I think, I already mentioned this in earlier posts, but once again: The code is freely available upon request.. Whoever wants it, just needs to send email to support@mobilainteractive.com requesting it. Similar notice is attached to the AppStore version of the game. You should not have any issues compiling a functional version with latest version of xcode and dev kit (although we do compile it with 2.0 for compatibility with older devices).
As far as I can tell, we are in full compliance with GPL v2, but if you don't believe so, please let me know ASAP.

I have no problem paying 1 dollar for this, but unfortunately, I'm not planning on spending 10 euros on a apple giftcard just to buy a 0.99€ game, but the emailadress provided is not responded to, and the support site is just a giant bunch of spam. So therefore I ask it here, is the source available online? As the mail is not responded to, and its released gpl.

I am trying my best to respond to everyone's requests. Sorry if I missed some emails (due to some technical issues with the provider)... The project file should now be available for download @ mobilainteractive.com/tyrian/tyrian1.7.zip
