I've looked all over these forums to try and get an answer to a question I've had for a while, but no luck, so I decided to create an account and ask the question myself. (if you want to skip straight to the question without having to read my little story, just scroll down to the last paragraph) I was really excited to finally be able to play Tyrian again after so long with OpenTyrian but when I went to play, I'm like at what happened! My ship zoomed to the upper-left corner of the screen and wouldn't move. And in the menus the left arrow key press was still being registered so when I went to quit my game it constantly switched between quit and cancel so fast my eyes couldn't keep up with it. I've heard that this is a joystick detection malfunction and can be fixed by using the 'nojoy' parameter to disable joystick detection. So my question is this: How do I run OpenTyrian with the 'nojoy' parameter? Thanks in advance

Thanks! It worked! It's awesome to finally be able to play this great game again. But there's something I noticed when playing episode 1. When I got to the Deliani level and picked up the repulsor special weapon the game crashed on the spot. Is this a bug or just a random crash?

It's a bug, that happens sometimes. Was this enhanced or classic? It should only be happening in enhanced.

I thought the only version of OpenTyrian was the enhanced version That's okay, though, lots of source ports have bugs in them. It's still great to be able to play this awesome game on Windows XP.
