I don't know how to play open tyrian. When i try to play the game send me the next error:
No joystick found. Mouse Detected. Initializing SDL audio... WARNING: Unable to find Tyrian data files. Stopped on file music.mus. OpenTyrian needs the Tyrian data files to run. Please read the README file.

put the Tyrian 2.x files in the ./data/ directory, if you're using a case-sensitive filesystem, the file names need to be all lowercase.

You mean create de /data/ directory inside the /opentyrian/ directory: /opentyrian/data/ and execute ./tyrian
where can i find de 2.x files? in the tyrian 2000 for example?
Sorry for my poor english and thanks for this great game on linux.

Thanks for all Mindless, now the game works, the problem was the capital letters in the name of the tyrian archives, i changed to lower-case letters, and i moved the tyrian executable to the data folder.
I only wish that this project never dies, thanks for all.

I have a question that isn't answered in the FAQ. When I save my game, quit OpenTyrian, then look in the saved games menu next time I play all my saved games are gone. How do I fix this?

Create a folder named "save"in the opentyrian dir.

Heh, I don't know what a dir is . But if it's the folder that the OpenTyrian executable is in I made a folder named "save games" with no luck.

Yeah, dir is directory. And I said "save" not "save games" >_>

Ok, then that's why that didn't work. Anyway, I made a new folder named "save" and it works fine. Thanks.
