hi to everyone i'm a well experienced computer user: i'm not scared to try beta/alpha/completely different applications just to learn something. Currently i'm running Windows 7 on my MSI nettop pc (the only computer i have now) and i'm verry happy of that: it's faster than xp and the last build (7201) with TouchPack is AMAZING, even if i have only a single touchscreen screen. yeah, most linux distributions are faster than this OS, but for drivers and incompatibility at the moment i'll stick with windows 7. if you want to know more on windows 7 and how to install it, go on www.windowsette.com and use a translator like google Translate to translate from italian to your language. And opentyian (classic r944 precompiled) runs very well!

Far more interested in Win7 than in Vista, that's for sure. As a sysadmin I remain cautiously optimistic about 7, and hope that I'll be able to deploy some Win7-based virtual desktops in the next year or so, once it's out.

XP is getting a bit dated...hoping the 64 bit version will chug merrily on my PC.

hi to everyone i'm now back to xp on my Nettop (desktop with netbook's hardware) because the drivers on 7 still in beta (no 3d acceleration, etc...) and because i've the License only of Xp.
what i've tried in those weeks is: 7 will be a great OS, because it fix some vista problems and the new thing (touch pack, graphic, etc) are pretty good.
