Hey guys....love Tyrian, and I am really glad you guys are doing this like you are. Keep up the good work. Sorry, long time lurker, first time poster. Anyhow, I think there's a problem...this is for the Classic trunk only. Enhanced is not affected. I found a trojan in the actual EXE used to run the game. I've confirmed it on multiple machines with multiple AV's (Avira, AVG, Kaspersky, Norton, Avast, and McAffee). Not sure who handles this or needs to know, but the technical forums seems right to me. It is the TR/Dropper.Gen trojan, and more info can be found here: www.avira.com/en/threats/section/details/id_vir/3647/tr_dropper.gen.htmlI'm not sure how it got in there, but I thought you all should know. Thanks.

can anybody confirm this? I think it might be a false positive also, did you build it yourself or are you using one of the official (camanis.net) builds?

Scanned camanis.net/tyrian/builds/opentyrian-w32-r906.zip with AVG locally and didn't find anything. Online scan at virusscan.jotti.org/ indicated that the only AV to detect it was AntiVir, as a generic heuristics detection, and with a note indicating that AntiVir produces more false positives than other anti-viruses. So yeah, I'd say it's a false positive. Should probably report it to AntiVir.
