When i say make a level, i mean just like either draw it up, show which enemies you want, whichever way you want to express it to me. (eg, an animation)

wow, I can't do It then. I don't have the time to remember the enemies of the game and make a level.

You dont ahve to remember how all the enemies work and such, just go to it.travisbsd.org/foo/tyrian/tyrian2k_rips/ ( Thanks bb1 ) and download some of the sprites there, then do whatever you need to with them.

mmh, nice idea! owever i think the opentyrian project is something "better" because of the updates either for the classic and enhanced versions. in my opinion, we have to focus on Win, linux, mac packages/builds avoiding the compiling work of users, making the game easy to install for everyone!!!!

Well, I suppose topic res is going to be the only activity we see for a while, given that this isn't really a hotbed of users. We could distribute a Unix source for compilation (via configure, make, make install) and a Windows binary for the others. The problem would be having a team decide on a good language to update the content with.
