I know this is a bit off topic, but the general thread haven't got any activity since April.
I am looking for a game very similar to Tyrian regarding looks, but it has a simpler mechanism.
It is probably a flash based game, with vector graphics. It's name probably has some of these words in in: asteroid, meteor, but this is just a tip.
You can have three types of weapons, you start with a yellow laser weapon, and if you pick up yellow sphere from killed enemies, it upgrades it, and you get a Vulcan like, spread weapon.
Then there is a second red (pink) weapon, with one central laser, and balls at the sides.
Then a blue beam, and when fully upgraded it has 4 parallel beams, looks cool.
The levels are mostly asteroid fields. And the main purpose of the game is a bit casual multiplayer (up to 3 players, you know:) in the office when the boss is not looking).
It is very easy to set up on local area networks.
Please I am looking for this game for years, and I am a bit bored with Tyrian, since I play it through 20 times a year, so I need a little variation.
