Hello. Is it possible to rip out the music samples used for the music? I'm not entirely sure where to start looking. My initial thought was that they are stored in the .lds files, though they are only some kB's each which made me wonder. Still most likely...
Anyone who knows more in this subject?

Tyrian doesn't use anything like module files, so there are no "samples". The music is synthetized on the fly by the Adlib soundcard.

It should be possible to recreate the tones by extracting the relevant data (no clue where you'd find it, though) and using it in another FM synth (although if the parameters are different you'd have to do some translating). I've been starting to do that sort of thing with the Yamaha YM2151 chip and VOPM (VSTI plugin YM2151 emulator) recently.
