Hi,
In the original Tyrian in the ice secret level I think it is. The one with the timer. After the fast bit at the beginning you get a special weapon. And it's little icon in the top corner is ?? I believe. And the weapon itself is a little like the soul of ziglon but way more powerful.
But in the open tyrian version I have (latest OS X build) it is just the 2 low lvl laser weapon shooting out of your ship. Very different.
Is there supposed to be this difference?

That's a Tyrian 2k thing, we looked into it once and that SDF isn't in 2.1

Lol, the SDF Main Cannon. Losing that for Repulsion made me very, very sad.

Actually, I believe you wait after the first powerup and then pick up a second, giving you the SDF. Yeah only that second power up isn't actually created. IIRC it's in the level script but never gets to run.
