Tyrian 2.x

Looking to buy an original Tyrian 2.x (full version) game.
The shareware version is easy to find.

I don't really know what packaging the full version came in, or what, but I'd like that too.

Isn't it available for full freeware somewhere? I swear they aren't selling that old game anymore
Maybe if you Google the freeware version, then... Well, yeah, you can probably find the freeware (though it may require some digging).
I think I have the full installer somewhere, but that'll take time for me to find as well.
But Safari/Stealth isn't selling Tyrian anymore, its outdated and methinks that they have released somewhere that it is available for freeware (aren't I redundant?). Of course, Stealth's, Safari's, and Blue Square's websites are dead, so those companies have disbanded, meaning they can't sell it.

Yes, I know. In fact, I already have basically every shareware and full version, as well as 2000 on my disk.

However, I'm a collector. What i'm really interested in is the Box, the booklet, and the original game media. I've been playing the game for years since it came out. What I'm really interested in is the nostalgia factor of owning the original packaging and media. The full experience of enjoying the artwork and tangible "stuff", rather than just unzipping a RAR file.

Someone out there must have it somewhere, lying in their closet. Hopefully I can buy it.

Ooooh! Sorry, I misunderstood you. As far as the box, I've never heard of Tyrian retailing in a box, I've only seen the classic CD-case sales. Sorry. Also, it has the 2k logo on the front for the booklet.

Indeed. I'm starting to think that finding a copy of Tyrian 2000 is my best bet.

Actually, I tried to order a copy when the company was still in business. But they folded before they could ship it to me.
