Mar 16, 2007: It's just a test screen showcasing image and shape (sprites) loading, as well as font drawing. EDIT: I've decided to put all shots in this post. Mar 19, 2007: Old non-working version of the title screen. May 29, 2007: Very buggy Buy/Sell screen. May 29, 2007: Incomplete demo mode (no enemies or events, I think some backgrounds are missing too). Excuse us for the graphical glitches. =] June 12, 2007: Woo! Stars! Almost completed jukebox. (The controls are still a bit buggy) July 4, 2007: Game loop quite complete. Missing is the collision detection, which means nothing dies yet. =] Yay, bugs! In-game menu is done (except the volume controls, which don't work because volume control doesn't actually works.) Almost everything works now. Killing enemies, dying, finishing a level, getting power-ups and coins. And wild mode.

A non-interactive title screen. Heh.
Up to now we have the into logos, the Tyrian animation, then the menuy fade ins and it halts. I say it's progressing quite fast.

We now have an interactive title screen with music. And, as far as I'm concerned, seeing the familiar fade-in to the Tyrian ambigram accompanied by that distinctive throbbing bass note has moved the project from "semi-functional pile of code" to "incomplete version of Tyrian"

I can rewrite the first half of that sentence:
"We now have an interactive title screen with music. And, as far as I'm concerned, seeing the familiar fade-in to the Tyrian ambigram accompanied by that distinctive throbbing bass note has moved us all to tears! It is actually coming together! Make me a sandwich!"
Good times.

It's look like more Tyrian 2000 than Tyrian

OpenTyrian doesn't support the Tyrian 2000 datafiles yet though, so it's not. Besides, Tyrian 2000 actually has a Tyrian 2000 logo on the title screen, not just Tyrian.

And Tyrian 2 and Tyrian 2000 look exactly the same except a few things anyway, so I dunno wtf you're talking about moiRenard.

there is no tyrian 2.
and you should place in the source for tyrian 2000 so It would support it.
